Food is Love

I love food. Almost everything we do in our culture centers around food--a party, going out with friends, meetings, holidays--everything!

I'm not one to miss out on all that food has to offer and lately my food game has just been on it. So of course...I took some photos!

Drool on.

Taste of Oregon District

Fish tacos from Jay's Seafood. The sauce made these good, otherwise the fish didn't have much flavor. I am itching to try this restaurant out though. I've tasted other delicious things from here before.

Always a favorite for me are Dublin Pub's cheese fries. That molten mess is to die for.

The cars on display at the festival were easy to drool over as well. And anytime someone feels like they might want to buy me an Aston Martin, you go right ahead! ;)

A Peachy Dessert

The other night I made a dessert that I've had pinned forever. Baked Marscapone Peaches. It was SO simple but tasted like you'd stood in a hot kitchen making sweet, sticky cobbler all afternoon. I pinned the recipe from here (and her photos put mine to shame) but here's a quick rundown of how I did it.

halve your peaches and put onto a baking tray.

top with a slice of butter and a honey drizzle.

pop into the 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

After plating them scrape the sweet honey mess off of the pan and onto your peaches along with a dollop of marscapone cheese and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I added another quick swizzle of honey as well.

So easy. So delicious!

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Five Guys burgers are probably my favorite restaurant burger! And their fries are top of my list as well.

I had to drop my glasses off for some work the other night so I indulged while waiting to pick them up. Feast your eyes on this!

I topped it all off with a few sweets even though I was stuffed to the brim.

I hope you're good and hungry, cause I know I am now....off to find some lunch!
