Snapshots in Wegerzyn Gardens

I am not one with mother nature nor do I have a knack for gardening or yard work of any kind. To be honest I don't have the patience or skill. I applaud those who can turn an outdoor space into a beautiful oasis of tranquility.

Visiting all of the metro parks in my area is on my summer to do list so on Sunday afternoon my mom and I took a drive over to Wegerzyn Gardens. I've heard so much about it, but have never been. Boy have we been missing out!

I went back today and brought my camera along for the stroll. The gardens are so highly maintained and simply a gorgeous place to lose oneself for an hour or so. Fancy a walk through, do ya?

The variety of plants are vast and the different gardens are dotted with unique bits too.

I'm always in awe of nature especially when it's put on display in a way that's so appealing the eye. God's creation just never ceases to amaze me.

Dancing in the breeze, the flowers beckon you with their soft movements and bright attractive colors. However, my favorite garden has to be the English garden which is full of various succulents, arbors dripping in flowers, and picturesque archways all surrounding a bubbling fountain.

Tuck a book under your arm for one or pack a picnic for two and head out to Wegerzyn Gardens for a relaxing afternoon. You will not be disappointed!
