February Favorites

Hey everyone! It's march (and snowing) but here's a look at what I've been loving in February.

Pink Lips: Trying to rush winter out and hurry spring along, I added a few new lip products to my makeup bag in various shades of pink. Finding lip colors that look great on me and my big lips isn't easy but I ended up loving each one of these!
  • NYX matte lipstick is highly pigmented, smooth, and long lasting.
  • NYX butter gloss is more sheer than the lipstick and creamy.
  • Revlon Colorburst is moisturizing, glossy, and adds enough color to notice, but not too bold. (good dupe for the clinique chubby stick!)
  • Maybeline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue are mentholated and perfect for adding a little color when you also need to treat chapped lips.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette: I've been using this palette for a few months now and it is my daily makeup go to. These neutral colors are perfect for a fast and simple day look and includes dark colors that can be used to create a bolder night look. It's also perfect for the frequent traveler! I plan on taking it along to Europe this summer because of it's versatility and compact size.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer: I received a sample of this a long time ago from Sephora and just recently remembered how much I liked it and bought a full size tube. I find it to be much better than the highly praised Smashbox primer. My makeup really does last all day with this. Once I was even going to workout in the evening after work and my mom asked why I put on makeup to go workout!

Bath & Body Works Sweet Shop Candles: I absolutely love burning candles and pretty much light one or two instantly upon entering my bedroom. B&B is always having great sales on their candles and this month they put out a new collection of Sweet Shop scents. I love the Pink Lemonade Pound Cake and the mason jar design is so cute.

Half Pops: These little popcorn snacks are partially air popped and make the perfect crunchy snack. I love nibbling on the kernels at the bottom of a bowl of popcorn so this snack is right up my alley. They aren't too hard, gluten free, and no artificial ingredients. Guilt-free snacking!
