The Golden Lamb is the oldest hotel in Ohio and has been visited by 12 presidents and other famous men such as Charles Dickens! This cozy, antique atmosphere is the perfect setting for an evening meal with your favorite people.
Before the show we ate at the Black Horse Tavern which is part of the hotel. We started with some flatbread and wings. And since it was happy hour I opted for a $1 Little King beer which was fantastic!
For my meal I had seared salmon, parmesan-vegetable orzo in a watercress beurre blanc. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was so filling and flavorful.
The history buff in you is sure to be pleased with a dining experience here. My grandparents also very much enjoyed their stay so, if an overnight trip back in time is your thing, be sure to book yourself a room.
