Candy Floss Cocktails

I thought last night's Oscars were phenomenal! I absolutely loved the broadway numbers and Jennifer Lawrence is for sure my current girl crush. She is fantastic in every sense of the word--her acting, beauty--everything!
In honor of last night's Oscars, I took a not so fancy fair treat and created a fancy cocktail for my mom, sister, and I to enjoy.
Cotton candy being an obsession in my house is an understatement. When my brother, sister, and I each graduated high school, my parents rented a cotton candy machine for our graduation parties--which was a huge hit!
This fair food may not be the classiest of snacks, but tonight I gave it a red carpet twist as my mom, sister, and I all sat down to watch the Oscars. What could be classier than a sweet, pink martini?!
This cocktail will be sure to win an award at your next party! Let's get mixing.
To make your own Candy Floss Cocktail or Cotton-tini (sounds classier than plain ol' cotton candy, right?) you will need:

  • Pinnacle Cotton Candy Vodka
  • Lemon-Lime Soda
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Grenadine
  • Maraschino Cherries
  • Pink Cotton Candy
**chill the vodka, soda, and pineapple juice beforehand**
If you don't have a fancy shaker like me, use anything with a lid to mix your drinks. I used this which was perfect because it's meant for mixing--it's just not very fancy.
Do whatcha gotta do.
Here are the steps to an Oscar award winning drink.

And there ya have it! Shake it all together over some ice, pour into your favorite glass, and plop a cherry straight in.
If you want to make it extra sweet garnish with some cotton candy or even better; drop a small piece in and watch it dissolve into sweet delicious goodness.

Your sweet tooth will be sweetly satisfied!
