Just Call Me a Nerd

After getting my Starbucks fix this morning, I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my classroom! Why, might you ask? Well...

THIS was there waiting on me!

I'm not afraid to admit that I am a total nerd about school supplies. I actually got excited to stock up on some everyday items I use in the classroom. The excitement may have been a little justified seeing as how starting in a classroom a quarter of the way through the year can leave you without some basic necessities--hence the 20 pairs of scissors

I also got this...
...and it really just made my day. ☺

What's not to love about a tabletop easel with one side Post-it note chart paper, and the other a dry erase board?! My small groups are going to be oh, so much more entertaining. Like I said...just call me a nerd!

After having my morning made, my lunch made the afternoon not too shabby either.

blueberry bagel w/peanut butter and banana slices--I was going to also have Chobani greek yogurt, but i left it at home ☹

After that kind of nerdy day, how could my evening get any better? Surprisingly, it did! It all started with contact solution. Yep, remember that time I stopped at the store to buy contact solution and came home with this...

The part that made my night is the fact that I can now read The Hunger Games (I know, I know-- That's so last month, you read it when it came out in 2008, etc. --but I'm still excited!) AND the Starburst Jellybeans. Seriously, I should've bought stock in those things this Easter season!

I'm off to workout and READ!

Are YOU super pumper for The Hunger Games movie this weekend?
